1. What equipment do we need to bring?
Always bring as much equipment as is possible, you never know what you might want to use.

2. Can we use your instruments and gear?
You need to bring your own instruments (including drums, guitars and amps). Please get in touch if you wish to arrange for equipment hire.

3. How long will it take?
The more time you can spend in the studio the better it will sound, as you will not have to rush takes and will have the time to try them again. We would normally recommend at least 3 days for a good quality 2-3 song CD. Try to plan one day per song and ideally one day for mixing. Please call to discuss this further as every project is different. We highly recomend booking a seperate day for mixing.

4. Do we record together at the same time (live) or overtrack?
The studio is geared for both ways of recording and will do whatever suits your band best. Recording live normally allows more songs to be recorded. Layering the parts will take more time but will allow more attention to individual parts.

It is fine with us if you'd like to bring in a producer. The studio fee will include an assistant engineer who is familiar with the studio.
